Abha Chadha’s Parent 50th Annv.

Abha’s parents celebrated their Golden Anniversary at the Jersey City Hyatt this past Saturday.
50 years of a cherished life of being together.. A BIG achievement indeed!!!
The Chadha’s are a very warm and sweet family.
Love the city skyline and the view from the 2nd Floor of the Jersey City Hyatt is simply breathtaking. The Indoors however was a challenge ,the entire floor is surrounded by glass windows!
Shooting towards the glass window or mirror was out of question. I wanted to eliminate the Flash glare that would be messy.

Glare and reflections are the primary concerns when taking pictures around glass and so, the camera is at anything but a 90-degree angle to the window or glass. This can change how the shot is framed but it does help eliminate blow-back.

I had to reposition myself bouncing the flash off of the ceiling until the reflection disappeared or was endurable. Flash blow-back is still very much a possibility, Of course. If I had my way, I’d shoot minus the flash cranking up my ISO the most!
