First Image at ISO 10000 using NIKON D3s

So, Finally i decided to use my New D3s that was delivered straight from Nikon NY yesterday. Thanks to Nikon Professional Memebership that i have. I had placed an order with B&H 2 weeks ago and the camera was on backorder. I called Nikon and them about the order that was placed with B&H in NY. Magic… Nikon d3s came in 2 weeks!\r\n\r\nWell! this morning i took picture of my Favorite God, Ganeshji. Let it have a good start. So far, the shutter count is only 1. and this is the only images that is taken with this new Nikon D3s.\r\n\r\n\r\nLighting inside the closet is NOT great at all. it is the ISO and the high quality Nikon lens 85mm shot at Aperture 2 made it possible. Look at the shutter speed. Shutter was set at 1/200. I could have easily gone upto 1/100 but wanted eliminate any shakes as i know i was going to crop at 100% to display the image\r\n\r\n\r\nHere is the EXIF info\r\n\r\nDate: 3/13/10\r\nTime: 10:50:46 AM\r\nLatitude: \r\nLongitude: \r\nModel: NIKON D3S\r\nSerial #: xxxxxx\r\nFirmware: Capture NX 2.2.4 M\r\nFrame #: 256\r\nLens (mm): 85\r\nISO: 10000\r\nAperture: 2\r\nShutter: 1/200\r\nExp. \r\n\r\n\r\nand Here is the 100% crop.\r\n\r\nBoth images are straight out of D3s.;)\r\n\r\n\r\n
\r\n\r\nSoon i will post my Nikon D3s Settings that i normally keep. There are many folks who email me asking my camera setting for Nikon D700. \r\n\r\nThere a few tasks that i will be posting before actual wedding season starts in May…..\r\n\r\nHere are few of the basic things that i want to achieve using this tool.\r\n\r\n1. I wanted to shoot with minimum of flash with available light with great focus engine\r\n2. Higher virtually Noiseless ISO’s, I am totally Impressed with the very 1st Image at ISO10000. It would now be fun to shoot receptions and gather all the Ambiance from the dance floor. Love it!\r\n3. FUSION….. want to integrate VIDEO and PHOTO fusion. It is a trend catching up faster than ever. Shoot 1st few frames of video and then cool pictures transitions… Instead of watching video for a longer time,it would be best of both.\r\n\r\nOh!\r\nMy Honeycomb Grid is coming soon for the creative lighting by next week.\r\n\r\nKeep reading Blog from New Jersey Indian Wedding Photographer….\r\n\r\nSpoil the Bride and Groom by giving Awesome Images… Not by Offering Discounts and Thank You cards;)\r\n\r\n
